¿Qué significa una pendiente 6/12?

Que el techo sube 15 cm por cada 30 de avance horizontal. Equivale a 26.57 grados y a un factor de 1.118, así que la superficie real es un 12 % mayor que la planta.

¿Qué es el factor de pendiente y para qué sirve?

Es el multiplicador que convierte la superficie en planta en superficie real de techo. Pedir teja según la planta del edificio siempre deja el pedido corto.

¿Cómo convierto pendiente a grados?

Con el arcotangente de subida entre desarrollo. Una pendiente 4/12 es arctan(4/12) = 18.4 grados, y 12/12 son exactamente 45 grados.

¿Qué pendiente se puede caminar?

Hasta unos 7/12 la mayoría de los techadores camina sin ayuda. De 8/12 a 9/12 se usan escaleras de gancho o arnés, y por encima hace falta andamio.

¿Cómo afecta la pendiente al costo?

Doblemente: hay más superficie para la misma planta y la mano de obra sube cuando el techo deja de ser transitable. Por encima de 8/12 muchos cobran 20 % extra.
