¿Cuál es la altura máxima de peralte por código?

El IRC limita el peralte residencial a 19.7 cm, y el más alto y el más bajo de un tramo no pueden diferir más de 1 cm entre sí.

¿Cuál es la huella mínima?

Veinticinco centímetros según el IRC, medidos de nariz a nariz. Si las huellas llevan nariz, esta debe volar entre 1.9 y 3.2 cm.

¿Cuántas huellas van con cierto número de peraltes?

Siempre una menos, porque el descanso superior hace de última huella. Catorce peraltes significan trece huellas.

¿Qué es la regla 2P + H?

Dos veces el peralte más la huella debe quedar entre 61 y 64 cm. Es una comprobación de comodidad más que de código, pero una escalera que la incumple se siente mal al caminar.

¿Qué largo debe tener la zanca?

Sigue la hipotenusa: raíz de la altura total al cuadrado más el desarrollo al cuadrado. Compra al menos 30 cm más largo, porque pierdes material en los cortes.
